This week I have been taking massive action and I am excited about the new direction of my business. Stay tuned for lots of new things coming up!
Today I am sharing with you how you can do just the same 🙂
Decide what you want. This is key. It’s hard to move forward if you don’t know where you want to go. What are your business goals? What do you want in life? What is your ideal lifestyle?
Brainstorm. I was learned about a great exercise recently. Think about 50 things you can do now that will increase your revenue. They shouldn’t have anything to do with selling anything! If you start to get stuck, keep going. You will be amazed at how easy it is really to increase your bottom line.
Learn to focus. Put aside all of those “busy” type of tasks, i.e. admin. stuff. Allot time to work on the projects you have started, but haven’t finished (or to start something new as brainstormed above). They should be projects that by completing and implementing them, you will be closer to reaching your financial goals.
Make a Plan. Write down all of the steps involved for your project and assign a date to each task. It helps to start with the date you would like it completed (launched), and work backwards.
Get Out of Your Own Way. Identify any old beliefs that are no longer serving you. For most of us they have to do with money and self-worth. Identify all of these beliefs and fears that are holding you back. Awareness is half the battle. Last week’s article was all about money beliefs and how to change them.
Realize your self-worth. Look at old testimonials to appreciate your value. Write out your strengths and what you can do for others. These exercises are immediate confidence boosters. Do this as often as necessary.
Stay Motivated. Do whatever you need to do to stay inspired. Examples are reading, listening to an audio book and being around like-minded people.
Feel the fear and do it anyways. No matter what change is scary. Moving up to new levels in your business and life is scary. Just do it anyways. Ignore that negative self-talk (the ego), and go for it 🙂 The more you do this, the easier it becomes. Remember this little tidbit, a new level = a new devil. Stuff will always come up, but when you have the proper tools in place, you can handle it and continue to move forward. You deserve to play big!
