I hope everyone had a nice long holiday and a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family. Did you stop to think about what you are really thankful for? We were fortunate enough to have been invited to two dinners! At both dinners, we went around the table and each person said something they were thankful for. I was the instigator at the first dinner and at the second, something different happened. I wasn’t in the best of moods and noticed I didn’t really even want to participate! This completely went against the whole idea of the exercise. It was a good reminder about how are perspective can change depending on what mood we are in. Life is just so much better when we are feeling good. It’s also an important reminder that when we are trying to make positive changes in our lives, whether it’s a new job, new relationship or even a new attitude on life, we really need to be positive in order for those types of things to flow in. I was able to catch myself quickly at the second dinner and ended up saying something I was thankful for from my heart. What are you thankful for? How can you stay feeling good on a regular basis?
