This week I was invited to an out of town event at the last minute that I really wanted to attend. To be honest it was a real stretch to make it happen. It required more then the usual childcare needed, and nothing seemed to work. I tried every sitter and just when I thought it wouldn’t pan out, at the last second a good friend was able to help 🙂 It was one of those things that I knew was important and I knew I needed to make it happen.
What is your will to succeed? Will you do anything and everything it takes to make it happen? Read today’s article and find out.
If you are using the law of attraction and the things you’ve asked for aren’t happening right away do you stop?
Most often what happens is you’ve planted a seed, but don’t see it’s growth all the way through. You need to remember that what you want will happen, but it will also happen at the very best time in the very best way. The opportunity for us to move from Canada to California took almost 3 years to come to fruition. I can tell you that it happened in the very best way it could have (better then we could have imagined), and wouldn’t have been if it had happened any earlier. I almost gave up several times, but persevered!
When you need to do something that involves feeling uncomfortable, do you stop?
This could be your fearfulness getting in the way. Just be aware of it, and plow through it anyways. My 5-year old recently wanted to try kayaking. When we got into the boat he immediately chickened out and we had to stop before we even left the dock. I told him it was okay and we could come back another time. At the thought of having to leave he decided to try again. We paddled away from the dock and went around the whole bay! He did amazing! There’s a lesson for all of us, just feel the fear and do it anyways. It likely won’t be as bad as you’re making it out to be, and might even be fun!
If you’re not getting the results you want do you give up?
I was disappointed to learn that a contact of mine stopped her business and went back to corporate life. She was doing so well. I can’t help but feel she was really close to making it (big time), and just didn’t see it through. It’s hard being in business for yourself. If all of the pros and the will to succeed aren’t super crazy strong, then it’s just not going to be enough to succeed. You also have to be willing to do whatever it takes to keep your mindset healthy. Believing in yourself is king!
When you’re feeling down or “off” do you stop what you’re doing?
We all have these days. It’s important to persevere and keep going 🙂 When I feel like this, I like to tell myself that I’m tired (or whatever the issue is), and that I will have a great, productive day anyways. I even like to drop in “miraculous” now and then! Setting a positive intention is SO important. It works every time!
If you said yes to any of the above questions, then take a quick inventory of where things stand. How badly do you want this to work on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the highest? Are you willing to put the time and effort in? At the seminar I was at today, I was told that the first two years are the hardest. If you work your butt off getting set-up and do whatever it takes to make your business a success, you WILL succeed! Yay!
