While I was in LA I was also fortunate enough to attend a Hay House event. Louise Hay even made an appearance. She looks amazing for age 82! What I took away the most is from what Cheryl Richardson was talking about. It applied to so many people in the audience. So many of us are always trying to be the good girl and please others. We will agree to do things when we don’t really want to for fear of disappointing others and rarely stand up for ourselves when we have been treated unfairly. Does this sound familiar? When you do this you are giving away your power. If you don’t stand up for yourself, who is going to?

Let’s face it, we don’t like to disappoint others because we know how much it hurts to be disappointed. If you ca say no with grace, then you can leave the situation knowing you respected the person you said no to and that you acted with integrity.

The more you say yes to what you want and no to what you don’t want, the more you can start living a truly authentic life doing only what you love. If you want to experience abundance in your life, you need to send a message out to the universe that you are not willing to settle for less. This means stepping into your power and creating the life you desire. Not everyone is going to understand your dreams & desires and that’s okay, they don’t have to.

“Be who you are and say what you feel. Because those who mind don’t matter. And those who matter don’t mind.”
