Making a decision is such an important process in creating the life you desire. The anticipation of making the decision is often more scary then actually doing it. When I was faced with the decision to leave my insurance career, my gut instinct was to give notice and focus on coaching whole heartedly. The other part of me of course said to play it safe and see if I could work part time instead. I knew deep down this wasn’t the right choice, as I really wanted to focus all of my energy into my new career. I had already been juggling a full time job, coaching part-time, and family responsibilities. Making the decision to leave seemed so big & scary to me though. It actually took me getting the flu and experiencing a lot of anxiety simultaneously, and literally laying in the fetal position in the bathtub. I yelled in my mind “Now will you listen to your gut?!! Needless to say, 2 days later I gave my formal notice and have never felt so liberated in my entire life! Since then I haven’t looked back and everything has worked out (we’ll have to talk about trust & faith in a different newsletter). Imagine having the courage to make the decision to begin with, and then feeling like a weight has been lifted from your shoulders once you do. You will be surprised at how much better you feel once it has been made and what flows into place afterwards.
“It doesn’t matter which side of the fence you get off on sometimes. What matters most is getting off. You cannot make progress without making decisions.”

Picture how you would feel if you made that decision. Now make it!! I would love to hear how it goes for you.
