I’ve been noticing lately how true it is that the more you let go and let things flow, the more of what you actually want comes in. A client of mine described it as having the courage to go with the flow and follow what makes you happy.

The more you try to control how things will happen the more resistance you create. It’s like you are actually pushing against a wall when you try to control things. The only things is that the wall is bigger & stronger then you and will push you right back. You won’t get anywhere trying to do thing this way.

Last week we talked about goal setting and if you were on the call this week for our monthly teleclass, you got extra info. on how to succeed in achieving your goals. One thing I suggested was spending time each day visualizing what you are working on. The point of visualizing is that you actually see yourself doing what you are trying to achieve. With that, comes the emotion of what it actually feels like to achieve it and to experience it. Feeling the emotion is the key ingredient to attracting all of the steps you need to actually make it your reality.

It’s my experience that if you can stay focused on the end result, each step needed to get you there will line up for you one at a time. If you get hung up on the details, you are incorporating fear into the equation and therefore resistance. That’s why it’s important to let go and trust that you will achieve the end result. When you are in this state, the steps you need to take will appear quickly and easily. When you resist, each step will feel like work because you are worrying about it. It will also take longer! BUT if you can relax and enjoy each step of the ride you will be pleasantly surprised.

Admitting you have no control over a situation is huge. Once you can admit this and recognize your lesson is to trust and have faith in the universe, you will feel much more at peace and will actually enjoy the creation process.

Would you rather hit your head against a brick wall or enjoy the ride and know it’s going to all work out? You decide.

“There are things that we never want to let go of, people we never want to leave behind. But keep in mind that letting go isn’t the end of the world; it’s the beginning of a new life.”
