As many of you know I named 2014 as the “Year of the Yes”! My goal was to say yes to all opportunities, and to not hold back due to any obstacle whatsoever.

This led me to some pretty amazing opportunities; traveling to Peru and Belize for some very important and life changing personal development work, realizing a HUGE dream of moving to the beach in California, becoming coach of the year and a published author, and signing-up to work with a very expensive mentor to continue my own growth 🙂

What’s interesting is that I’m really no different then you, and you can make all of your dreams come true too. I share more on this below 🙂

Article:

What I hear from a lot of people is that I do whatever it takes to make things happen. I go balls out and just do it. Even though this is true, when I hear these types of comments I think, “Of course I do. I will do whatever it takes.” As my Mom says, I am very black and white. In this respect it serves me well, while in others I’m trying more of a grey approach 🙂

I realize that not everyone has a do-whatever-it-takes attitude on the surface, but I do believe deep down it is possible for everyone. It’s about connecting with your deeper why – getting clear on what inspires you and what you will commit to doing regardless of any obstacle that comes across your path. For obstacles are merely just stepping stones along the way, right?

My bigger why is my fascination with the magic of the universe, and I’ve made it my mission to understand and live it fully. I will always be a student and teacher at the same time. Ego aside, I’m always learning and something I love more than anything is sharing great resources and tools to help others succeed in fulfilling their dreams. My drive combined with a deep-rooted passion makes this possible. I’m no different then you. I’ve just allowed myself to go for it and have committed to it with a vengeance.

This week I am thankful for who I am and who I’ve become in the process of building this amazing lifestyle-friendly business. It is definitely the best personal development course one can ever take though. It is not for the faint of heart, but every time I say yes to something BIG and step-up, the tools and awareness are always there waiting to enable me to make it happen. It is an awe-inspiring way of living and be-ing. Again, you can have this too 🙂

Along with the year of the yes, came an abundance of tears. The journey has been empowering and difficult at the same time. With a yes, comes an enormous amount of inner-work that needs to be done. This is hard. All of the belief systems we know and love, that keep us in our stories have to be abandoned and re-created. This changes our relationships, our environment and how we feel about ourselves. It’s like our insides are being ripped out – I guess they sort of are.

The good news is that it’s worth it. Worth breaking through the barriers that keep us in our own prisons, and instead creating the lives we really want for our families, our clients, their families and ourselves. Yep, I’ve thought about throwing in the towel – a lot. BUT when I take step back, gain perspective and remind myself of my bigger why – to create freedom in my life and those of my clients – then I come back with a vengeance. I’m an inspired, spiritual warrior if you will, and I’m here to stay.

I am also thankful for you. For being a part of this community. For your willingness to show-up in the world as en entrepreneur, as a human being, and as the person you know you’re meant to be. This is your time. Make it count 🙂
